We start roasting early so that we can ship out your coffee fresh
The difference between fresh-roasted coffee and the stale alternatives is incredible. Once customers place orders, we craft roast their coffee in small batches and place it into high-barrier bags with one-way valves. After the coffee is roasted, it releases CO2 gas, which pushes out any oxygen in the head space of our bags and prevents staleness. We always ship our coffees to our customers fresh, right after roasting, rather than storing large amounts of product until it sells.
After opening our bags, reseal and store them away from heat. Use up the coffee as quickly as possible once the bag is open, as the CO2 is released and some flavour degradation can start after several days.
