Saturday, May 3 - booth at the Wolfville Farmer’s Market (8:30am –1pm)

Sunday, May 4 - Tea Tasting at the Barrington and Grand Pré Cafés (2-4 pm)

Monday, May 5 - Open Mic night & booth at the Spring Garden Café (6:30 - 9:30pm)

Thursday, May 8 - Movie night (screening of Strong Coffee) & booth at the Wolfville Café (8pm)

Saturday, May 10- booth at the Wolfville Farmer’s Market (8:30am –1pm)

Sunday, May 11– Chocolate tasting at the Barrington and Grand Pré Cafés (2-4 pm)

Tuesday, May 13 - Wine, chocolate, music and booth at the Wolfville Café (8pm)

Wednesday, May 21 – 7-9 pm KC Irving Auditorium - Come and meet Father Francisco VanderHoff, one of the founders of Fair Trade, who will share his experience and thoughts on the future of Fair Trade. There will also be a presentation from Errol Sharpe, of Fernwood Publishing, who will speak about his recent visit to a Fair Trade coffee community in Mexico and there will be a screening of a short video.

Is Tea good for me?

What are the benefits of Rooibos?

  • Rooibos is reported to have 50% more antioxidants than are found in green tea. Antioxidants are the organic substances believed to scavenge "free radicals," the toxic by-product of natural biological processes that can damage cells and lead to cancer.
  • Rooibos contains no artificial colours, additives, or preservatives, making it a truly natural beverage.
  • Rooibos contains NO caffeine.
  • Rooibos has been shown to aid in health problems such as: insomnia, irritability, headaches, nervous tension, and hypertension.
  • Rooibos contains the following minerals: copper, iron, potassium, calcium, fluoride, zinc, manganese, alpha- hydroxy (for healthy skin) and magnesium (for the nervous system).
