This blend of Haitian and Colombian (grown in the North Caribbean coast) is
roasted medium and has distinctive cocoa and baking spice flavours. The name is
inspired by the unique historical roots of Haiti, which gained independence after
a slave-led revolt against colonists. Slaves were taken from their African homeland
in the 1700s to work the vast coffee plantations on the island, which once
p roduced up to 60% of the world’s commodity coffee supply.
